Why don't you call the store? I have never heard of it!
Considering that I don't work at New Roma, I can't answer that for you.
Not that I Know Of
You can try. They are crazy busy this time of year. It is best to order a week or so in advance.
A variety of sweets, friendly staff, very tasty
Amazing food. Awesome staff. This place has everything. Their baked goods are amazing and it's just an awesome neighborhood bakery. Prices are very reasonable and after 1 pm quite a few of the items are on sale half off, so it's great for a bargain as well. (There will be a line at 1pm)
Such a good little bakery. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
My favorite donuts in this area! Everything is so fresh and light. They have everything muffin tops, bread and huge coffee rings. Definitely worth it!
They have the best bread and donuts around..🤗🤗
I tried a couple of the donuts and one of the French bread loaves and everything was solid! Nice to have a decent bakery in the neighborhood
I highly recommend this bakery! I actually went to high school with a guy who's family owns it. I suggest that you order ahead of time to be sure you get what you want in the quantity that you want. Their special orders are awesome! Last week I picked up a special order that I expected to last for a week and 4 days later it was gone. Guess I need to double my order for this week!
I have been going to this bakery quite frequently in the last 50 years. It was a family that owned it. The parents passed away & the children didn't continue with it. We do enjoy what the current people produce.
In a word...decent. Better than store bought bread, but not awe inspiring. Service is marginal. Often times I stop here before picking up my daughter and I usually get there 5 minutes prior to their posted closing time. On several occasions they have the door locked and are just turning the sign to closed, and they pretend I am not there. So much for the neighborhood baker. Why so eager to turn away customers? Crazy.
Good price, good neighborhood supplier of baked goods.
The place has not changed in many years. Great bakery. Pleasant staff! They still make fruit basket cakes..been going there 40 years..Everything is good😁
I liked my Texas donut. Very yummy
The beignets are so good
Super tasty. I'll return with my relatives.
Awesome. Delicious and Fresh! The Banana and Pumpkin muffins are the BEST!! Eat them too quick to take pictures
Food and atmosphere reminds me of Kansas City.
The best bread I ever fed my fat head !
Fun little independent bakery. Their donuts were hearty and tasty. I had the maple donut and it was outstanding. We also bought a large loaf of sandwich bread and been enjoying it quite a bit! It's in a quiet area and they set tables out on the sidewalk sometimes. Quite worth a visit
New Roma is flawless, and even better when you go later in the day (donuts are half off after noon). I was blown away, that I was able to purchase 7 raspberry beignets, a delicious muffin top, and a cupcake for under $4 altogether. No need for further reading about New Roma, they are probably the best bakery in Sacramento. Service is very kind, and the parking is easy.
The best bakery in the world
This place make the best bread.. it's so amazing.. try it everyone..
amazing little neighborhood bakery .. I highly recommend it
I used to attend Washington Elementary across the street 77’-79’. New Roma Bakery was a every Saturday morning walk from home to pick up pastries, sweet & sourdough bread for my mom.
Uh oh. I just started in a new job a block away. Their bread, rolls, and doughnuts are fantastic. My company uses them for birthdays and celebrations. Their cheesecakes are incredible and so are the coffee rings. They are always very prompt with their service and never had to wait in line, although it always seems very busy. Support your local businesses, especially this one.
The ladies working there were just as sweet as their donuts. Would definitely return!! :)
I got the last roll of French bread so I also got a roll of Italian bread. Along with assorted goodies to take home.
I always liked the baked goods.
Went in to get 2 dozen donuts and a roll for a sandwich. I was told they would only cut the roll in half for a extra $1.00. Needless to say they lost my business for ever. Being fair there products are very good. Who ever decided to charge to cut there own rolls is absolutely ridiculous.
Half price donuts after 1!
I almost hate to post this but honestly was disappointed went in a month ago and order brownie, that tasted two days old, a cupcake that was also two days old, and a doughnut it was ok. I was shocked it was not like it had been for years. I won't be going there anymore.
Great baked goods and excellent service
Fantastic old-school bakery.
Great little bakery if you come after 2 lots of things are half price
New Roma is damn near the perfect example of your old-fashioned local neighborhood bakery. It's in a largely-residential section of midtown Sacramento, right across the street from Washington Elementary School, and I stop in any time I take my nephew to school. The bread here is excellent; I can't recall ever having any better in town. Our favorites are the sourdough, the French, and Italian loaves - they're all terrific choices. We've often made meals out of nothing but the fresh, chewy bread a ample butter for spreading. They also make fabulous sweet treats: donuts, cakes, muffins, beignets that you should definitely try, but I think the real star here is the bread. It's just obscenely good, and I'll weep real tears of sorrow if this place ever goes out of business.
Best fruit danishes in town
Fantastic neighborhood bakery. If you get the sweets and breads when fresh they're fantastic. We like popping in on a weekend morning for fresh bread, beignets, and danishes.
great place little secret Best Ring Bread
super cute interior, cupcakes are so pretty, it feels sorta unreal like its all being prepared for a set or something. Didn't get to try the cupcakes cause sister ate them all, she liked but said "they are too small" but that cause shes used to the monstrous cupcakes at crumbs. BANANA PUDDING to die for. . .
Delicious and always soft pastries and no to much money pretty cheap
Amazing selection of freshly baked pastries and breads daily. I had some sort of peach pastry today. 1st time I've been in a long time. Very pleasurable experience.
Custom made cake. Neice loved it.
Nothing special here. Everything is predictable and boring. Nothing made from scratch. I’ve tried to give it a chance but found the quality to be like your average run of the mill bakery where their ingredients came from some food service company. But most disappointing was their breads. Their so called French bread was like your average bread. I don’t think they even know what French bread is supposed to taste like. But they’re not alone when it comes to lousy bread - that’s a common shortcoming. But the people there are all pretty friendly and nice. It’s just the quality of their offerings - it’s nothing special. There are better bakeries like Estelle’s or Mahoroba’s etc.
They are simply just the best bakery.
Great bread just made like the East Coast
Fresh baked and always good
Excellent !!! Banana cream pies. fruit basket cakes... Turnovers, pastries, fresh hot coffee, milk, juice, sodas, & fresh breads a wide variety. Come taste for your self, you will be glad you did.
Great little corner bakery, just like in the movies. TEXAS donuts were awesome.
Nice baked goods and some are half off after 1 pm.
Save your time if you are looking for an Italian bakery! Not sure why this comes up on google maps for Italian bakery, there was nothing Italian in the place! No cannoli, cream horn/cannoncini, lobster tails/sfogliatella, zeppole, biscotti, Italian cookies, crostoli, stromboli, bakery pizza...the only Italian thing I saw was Italian bread! I was told cannoli can be made by advanced request but that they have never had zeppole or lobster tail. Bare minimum to be called Italian bakery you’ve gotta have cannoli with the homemade shells. Maybe it was Italian when it opened like 80 years ago. Guess I am spoiled by my time in Boston going to Bova in the north end where I watch the guy filling cannolis and hand me one fresh.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Looked like a good standard fare bakery/donut shop but certainly is not Italian by any stretch.
Best maple bars ever.
